3 Touch a network to connect. If necessary, enter pass codes from the network administrator and touch Connect. Note: Your phone automatically reconnects networks you have used when they are in range and Wi-Fi power is on. When your phone is connected, appears in the status bar. Tip: To add a WiFi toggle widget, touch and hold a blank spot on your home screen and then touch Motorola widgets. To extend battery life, turn off Wi-Fi power when not in use: Press Menu > Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi Note: Your phone's Wi-Fi features and power levels are not allowed for outdoor operation in France. To avoid unlawful interference with radio signals, do not use the Wi-Fi features in France unless you are indoors. Phone network You should not need to change any network settings. Contact your service provider for help. Press Menu > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks to show options for roaming networks, network selection, operator selection, and access point names. Airplane mode Use airplane mode to turn all your wireless connections off-useful when flying. Press Power > Airplane mode. When you select airplane mode, all wireless services are disabled. You can then turn Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth power back on, if permitted by your airline. Other wireless voice and data services (such as calls and text messages) remain off in airplane mode.
