handsfree speaker Note: The use of wireless phones while driving may cause distraction. Discontinue a call if you can't concentrate on driving. Additionally, the use of wireless devices and their accessories may be prohibited or restricted in certain areas. Always obey the laws and regulations on the use of these products. To use your phone's handsfree speaker, press A. For key location, see page 2. Note: The handsfree speaker won't work when your phone is connected to a car kit or headset. With a Bluetooth headset press the right soft key (+) (Menu), scroll to Handsfree Off. Press the right soft key (+) (Menu) and scroll to Speakerphone On. lock & unlock phone You can manually lock your phone to prevent accidental key presses. To lock your phone, press X and then the space bar. Your left soft key becomes Unlock. To unlock your phone, press Unlock. Then, enter your password and press Unlock again. If you have not set a password, press Unlock and then *. To change your password: 1 From the home screen, press Start > Settings > Security > Device Lock. 2 Select Prompt if device unused for, and set how long your phone can be inactive before automatically locking. 3 Choose either a simple (4-digit number) or strong password (a mix of at least 7 uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and punctuation). 4 Enter and confirm your password and press Done. Caution: Make your password something you remember! Without your password, you can reset get started 15
