5 With the picture open, press the right soft key (+) (Menu), scroll to Use as Home Screen, and press the center select key (s). For some pictures you can crop the area and adjust the transparency. 6 Press the right soft key (+) (Finish) to set the picture as the home screen background image. home screen shortcuts You can use the shortcut icons across the top of the home screen or, depending on the layout, customize them: 1 From the home screen, press the left soft key (-) (Start). 2 Use the thumb wheel to scroll to Personalize My Q and press the thumb wheel or center select key (s) to select it. 3 Scroll to Home Screen Shortcuts and press the center select key (s). 4 Scroll to Show User Defined Shortcuts and press the center select key (s) to select it if it is not already selected. 5 Scroll to Define Shortcuts and press the center select key (s). 6 Use the navigation key (S) to select shortcuts, and then press the left soft key (-) (Done).
