Advanced Features Advanced Features Many of the advance features require at least two handsets registered to the base unit. You can expand your phone system by adding Motorola SD4500 Series expansion accessories (up to a total of 8 devices). Expansion handsets do not require connection to a phone line. Place the handset and its charging base anywhere a standard electrical outlet is available.
