Your Phone's Settings 3. Follow the prompts to choose a volume level and press Done (left softkey). Tip: In standby mode, you can adjust the ringer volume by using the volume keys on the side of your phone. To reset your volume setting to factory defaults, press M > Settings > Sounds > Volume > Reset Volumes. Alert Notification Your phone can alert you with an audible tone when you change service areas, once a minute during a voice call, when a call has been lost, or when you connect to the network. To enable or disable alert sounds: 1. Select M > Settings > Sounds > Alerts. 2. Highlight Service (Change), Minute Beep, Call Lost, or Connect (To Network), and press M. 3. Select On or Off and press M. Key Tones You can set the sound you hear whenever you press a key. To set your key tones: 1. Select M > Settings > Sounds > Key Tone. 2. To set the tone, select Navigation Tones, choose the tone you want and press M. 3. To set the tone length, select Tone Length, choose Short or Long, and press M.
