4. Using the Viewer Notices on shared folder and media server • Files from a shared folder or media server may not be projected if security or antivirus software is installed on your computer. • Open the following firewall ports: - Media server Port number 1900 2869 10243 10280-10284 Protocol UDP TCP TCP UDP - Shared folder Port number 137 138 139 445 Protocol UDP/TCP UDP/TCP UDP/TCP UDP/TCP • Set your computer for sharing and security to grant access to files in the shared folder and set your security or antivirus software to grant access to files in the shared folder. Consult your network administrator for more information. • Movie files in the shared folder or the media server may not be played back correctly depending on your network environment or the bit rate of your file. NOTE: Do not disconnect between the projector and your computer by removing the LAN cable or turning off the projector when a PowerPoint file or PDF file is displayed from a shared folder. Doing so will make Viewer inoperable. NOTE • The following operations by using the buttons on the projector are not possible when the VIEWER screen such as the slide screen and the thumbnail screen is displayed. - Keystone correction by using the ▲ or ▼ button - Auto Adjustment by using the AUTO ADJ. button - Volume control with the ◀ or ▶ button • Freezing picture by using the FREEZE, ASPECT, or AUTO ADJ. button on the remote control is not possible when the VIEWER screen such as the slide screen and the thumbnail screen is displayed. • Executing [RESET] → [ALL DATA] from the menu will return the settings for the Viewer toolbar to the factory default. 61
