Note: You can fill in both sections and the configuration used will be determined by the physical placement of the switch on the back of the wireless game adapter. • Fill in the Infrastructure settings. The default SSID is ANY. • Select your country/region from the drop-down list. • Security is disabled by default. Enter the security settings of your network: - Disable - usually used for first time network configuration. - WEP 64 Bit or WEP 128 Bit- select the Authentication type (Auto, Open System, or Shared Key). • For networks that use a passphrase: enter the passphrase and click Generate to generate the key. • For networks that use manually entered keys: enter the key. - For WPA-PSK - type a Passphrase. Note: Be careful to enter the passphrase or key information accurately. • To configure Ad-Hoc mode also, select the Ad-hoc Mode check box and configure the Ad-Hoc settings. • Click Next to proceed. Select the Change Password check box and type the old password for the WGE111 Wireless Game Adapter. The default password is password. Type a new password and then type it again in the Confirmation box. Basic Setup
Select the Infrastructure and/or Ad-Hoc
mode network settings.
Note:
You can fill in both sections and the
configuration used will be determined by the
physical placement of the switch on the back of
the wireless game adapter.
Fill in the Infrastructure settings. The default
SSID is ANY.
Select your country/region from the
drop-down list.
Security is disabled by default. Enter the
security settings of your network:
Disable — usually used for first time
network configuration.
WEP 64 Bit or WEP 128 Bit— select the
Authentication type (Auto, Open
System, or Shared Key).
For networks that use a passphrase
:
enter the passphrase and click
Generate to generate the key.
For networks that use manually
entered keys
: enter the key.
For WPA-PSK — type a Passphrase.
Note
: Be careful to enter the passphrase
or key information accurately.
To configure Ad-Hoc mode also, select the
Ad-hoc Mode check box and configure the
Ad-Hoc settings.
Click
Next
to proceed. Select the Change
Password check box and type the old
password for the WGE111 Wireless Game
Adapter. The default password is
