Deleting Images When browsing images in the camera, on disk, or on a compact flash-memory card, you can delete images by moving their associated thumbnails to the trash. Images can also be moved to the Trash by selecting their thumbnails in the browser window and choosing Move to Trash from the File menu. Note: When images in the camera are dropped into the Trash, an alert dialog will appear. If you click OK, the image will be permanently deleted without being stored temporarily in the Trash. Image files will be permanently deleted, so be sure to check the image being deleted before carrying out this step. Images can be moved to the Trash by dragging their associated thumbnails over the Trash icon and releasing the mouse button. Images in the Trash can be deleted permanently by selecting Empty Trash from the Special menu. If this is done, the deleted files can no longer be restored. Images in the camera will not be moved to the Trash, but will instead be permanently deleted. Nikon View Browser: Deleting Images - 26 -
