To choose the exposure mode, press the I button and rotate the main command dial until the desired mode is displayed in the viewfinder or top control panel. I button Main command dial A Depth-of-Field Preview To preview the effects of aperture, press and hold Preview button the depth-of-field preview button. The lens will Z be stopped down to the aperture value selected by the camera (modes e and f ) or the value chosen by the user (modes g and h), allowing depth of field to be previewed in the viewfinder. A Custom Setting e3-Modeling Flash This setting controls whether the SB-800, SB-600, SB-R200, and other optional flash units that support the Creative Lighting System (CLS; see page 190) will emit a modeling flash when the depth-of-field preview button is pressed.
