Connecting the EH-62A AC Adapter Kit An optional EH-62A AC adapter kit can be used to provide power from a wall plug outlet to the Nikon E7900/E5900 when the camera is used for an extended period, such as connecting it with a computer or printer. Before connecting the AC adapter kit, turn the camera off and make sure that the power-on lamp has gone out. EP-62A Power connector 1 Open the Battery-chamber Cover and the Power Connector Cover ( ), and then insert the EP-62A power connector ( ). Make sure the EP-62A is oriented correctly and insert it into the battery chamber pushing aside the orange battery latch. Power connector cord 2 Lock the power connector. The battery latch will be pushed out of the way as the EP-62A is inserted; the battery is fully inserted when the latch locks ( ). Technical Notes 3 Close the Battery-chamber Cover. Making sure the EP-62A power connector cord goes through the Power Connector Cover ( ), close the cover ( ) and slide it back into place ( ). Connecting the EH-62A AC Adapter Kit
An optional EH-62A AC adapter kit can be used to provide power from a wall
plug outlet to the Nikon E7900/E5900 when the camera is used for an ex-
tended period, such as connecting it with a computer or printer.
Before connecting the AC adapter kit, turn the camera off and make sure
that the power-on lamp has gone out.

Disconnecting the AC Adapter Kit
Before disconnecting the AC adapter kit, turn the camera off and remove the wall plug
from the power outlet. Open the battery-chamber cover and push upward the battery
latch and remove the EP-62A from the camera.

Open the Battery-chamber Cover
and the Power Connector Cover

), and then insert the EP-62A
power connector (
).
Make sure the EP-62A is oriented correctly
and insert it into the battery chamber

Lock the power connector.
The battery latch will be pushed out of the
