The Shooting Menu Using the Shooting Menu In (Auto shooting) modes, the following settings can be adjusted from the Shooting menu: Option Description Image mode Choose image quality and size. White balance Match white balance to your light source. Metering Select a metering method from Matrix, Center-weighted, Spot, or Spot AF area. Continuous Select shooting method from Single (one shot recorded), Continuous, 5 shot buffer, and Multi-shot 16. BSS Turn the Best Shot Selector (BSS) on or off. Color options Control color. Image adjustment Adjust contrast of pictures. Image sharpening Control how much outlines in your pictures are sharpened. Sensitivity Help exposure compensation and minimize blur when lighting is poor and the flash is off. Auto bracketing Allow continuous shooting with gradually changing exposure or white balance. Saturation control Adjust vividness of the color of a picture. AF area mode Select an area to be focused from Auto, Manual and Off. Auto-focus mode Select an Auto-focus mode of Single AF or Continuous AF.
