AF area mode Face priority Manual (spot) Manual (normal) Manual (wide) Subject tracking Target finding AF Reference Section 2 Register a subject. • Align the subject that you want to track with the border in the center of the monitor and press the k button. • When the subject is registered, a yellow border (focus area) is displayed around that subject and the camera begins tracking that subject. • If the subject cannot be registered, the border glows red. Change the composition and try registering the subject again. • To cancel subject registration, press the k button. • If the camera can no longer track the registered subject, the focus area disappears. Register the subject again.
