Shooting Features Smart Portrait Mode (Capturing Images of Smiling Faces) When the camera detects a smiling face, you can take an image automatically without pressing the shutter-release button (smile timer (A55)). You can use the skin softening option to smooth the skin tones of human faces. Point the camera at a human face.

If the camera detects that the face framed by the double border is smiling, the shutter is
