Basic Shooting and Playback Operations Functions That Can Be Set with the Multi Selector (When Shooting) When the shooting screen is displayed, you can press the multi selector H(m) J (n) I(p) K (o) to set the functions described below. • m Flash mode When the flash is raised, you can select a flash mode to match the shooting conditions. • n Self-timer The camera releases the shutter 10 seconds or 2 seconds after you press the shutter-release button. • p Macro mode Use macro mode when you take close-up pictures. • o Creative slider (o brightness (exposure compensation), G vividness, and F hue) In A (auto) mode, scene mode, or short movie show mode, you can adjust overall image brightness (exposure compensation).
