Distance priority manual flash In this flash mode, when you enter the shooting distance value, the SB-900 automatically controls the light output according to the aperture set. You can take pictures that have the same exposure even when shooting at different apertures. • Flash output level is automatically compensated by changing the flash output level compensation value. • Underexposure is not indicated in Distance-priority manual flash mode. Setting the Distance-priority manual flash Distance-priority manual flash is not available when the SB-900's flash head is adjusted to other than the horizontal/front or bounce-down flash position. Setting the Distance-priority manual flash
In this flash mode, when you enter the shooting distance value, the SB-900
automatically controls the light output according to the aperture set. You can take
pictures that have the same exposure even when shooting at different apertures.
Flash output level is automatically compensated by changing the flash output
level compensation value.
Underexposure is not indicated in Distance-priority manual flash mode.
Distance-priority manual flash is not available when the SB-900’s flash head is
adjusted to other than the horizontal/front or bounce-down flash position.
Press the [MODE] button.
