Switch the phone on and off Warning: Do not switch the phone on when wireless phone use is prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger. To switch the phone on or off, press and hold the power key. See "Keys and parts", page 16. If the phone asks for a PIN or a UPIN code, enter the code (displayed as ****), and select OK. Set the time, time zone, and date Enter the local time, select the time zone of your location in terms of the time difference with respect to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), and enter the date. See "Set time and date", page 52. ■ Key functions The Navi TM key and selection keys have the following functions: • Navi TM key - to scroll up, down, left, right; and to select with the center key • Right selection key - to connect to Media menu • GPS key - to connect to AT&T Navigator • Camera and video capture key - to begin shooting • Left selection key - to access the Go to menu • MEdia Net key - to connect to AT&T MEdia Net wireless internet ■ Standby mode When the phone is ready for use, and you have not entered any characters, the phone is in the standby mode. Indicators You have unread messages. You have new voice mail. Warning:
Do not switch the phone on when wireless phone use is prohibited or
when it may cause interference or danger.
To switch the phone on or off, press and hold the power key. See “Keys and parts”,
page 16.
If the phone asks for a PIN or a UPIN code, enter the code (displayed as ****), and
select

Set the time, time zone, and date
Enter the local time, select the time zone of your location in terms of the time
difference with respect to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), and enter the date.
