(4- Upright tube 4; Cord drum Arm-resistance knob Numbered decal Drag strap Drag-strap adjuster Select the Leg Resistance ■ When first starting, set the drag-strap adjuster between "2" and "5" on the upright tube. Increase the leg resistance if you slide away from the hip pad. Decrease it if you have to strain to move the skis back. ■ Each number on the leg resistance is equal to about 4 pounds, (example:1=4, 2=8, 3=12, etc.). NordicTrack Pro Model Select the Arm Resistance ■ Turn the arm-resistance knob clockwise to increase the resistance. ■ Turn the arm-resistance knob counterclockwise to decrease the resistance. On the NordicTrack Pro, a numbered decal protrudes from the arm-resistance knob as you increase the resistance. Use this to measure your arm resistance. 8
