Increase the leg resistance if you slide away from the hip pad. Decrease it if you have to strain to move the skis back. ■ Each number on the leg resistance is equal to about 4 pounds, (example:1=4, 2=8, 3=12, etc.). NordicTrack Pro Model Select the Arm Resistance ■ Turn the arm-resistance knob clockwise to increase the resistance. ■ Turn the arm-resistance knob counterclockwise to decrease the resistance. On the NordicTrack Pro, a numbered decal protrudes from the arm-resistance knob as you increase the resistance. Use this to measure your arm resistance. 8
