Adjust Your NordicTrack Ski Exerciser Adjust the Hip Pad The hip pad is designed to keep you in position, Increase the leg resistance if you slick: away from the hip pad. The correct position of the hip pad is about one inch below your navel. It should not restrict your leg movement or press against your abdomen. Perform die following steps to position the hip pad. • Pivot the hip pad down as far as it will go. • Set the drag-strap adjuster to "9" to prevent the skis from slipping.
