MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING Inspect and properly tighten all parts of the elliptical crosstrainer regularly. Replace any worn parts immediately. For smooth operation of the elliptical Wheel crosstrainer, the incline ramp should be kept clean. Using a soft cloth and mild detergent, clean dust and Incline Ramp other residue from the incline ramp where the wheels make contact with it. Other parts of the elliptical crosstrainer can also be cleaned in this way. Keep liquids off the console. Never use abrasives or solvents. HOW TO LEVEL THE ELLIPTICAL CROSSTRAINER If the elliptical crosstrainer rocks during use, turn one or both of the levelling feet under the rear stabiliser until the rocking motion is eliminated. Levelling Feet PULSE SENSOR TROUBLESHOOTING If the chest pulse sensor does not function properly, refer to CHEST PULSE SENSOR TROUBLESHOOTING on page 8. If the handgrip pulse sensor does not function properly, refer to step 6 on page 14. HOW TO RESET THE CIRCUIT BREAKER If the power does not come on when the console buttons are pressed or when the pedals are moved, make sure that the power cord is properly plugged in (see HOW TO PLUG IN THE POWER CORD on page 10). In addition, make sure that the on/off switch is in the on position (see THE ON/OFF SWITCH on page 10). If the power still Tripped Reset does not come on, locate the circuit breaker at Tripped Reset the back of the elliptical crosstrainer. If the switch pro- trudes as shown, the circuit breaker has tripped. To reset the circuit breaker, wait for five minutes and then press the switch back in. HOW TO ACTIVATE THE CALIBRATION ROUTINE If the elliptical crosstrainer's resistance system or incline system does not function properly, follow the steps below to activate the calibration routine. 1. Press the Start Program button and the level 10 Resistance button at the same time. The number "100" will appear in the right display. Press the Start Program button again. "EP:2P" will appear in the left display. 2. Press the 30° Ramp Angle button. The incline ramp will move to the highest position and then to the lowest position. The console will then emit a beep. 3. Press the level 10 Resistance button. "CAL" will appear in the left display and the indicators in the Training Zone bar will begin to flash. The resistance will adjust to the highest setting and then to the lowest setting. 4. Press the Start Program button. A light test will begin. While the test is in progress, press the Start Program button again. The calibration routine will be completed and the elliptical crosstrainer will be ready for use. 22

HOW TO LEVEL THE ELLIPTICAL CROSSTRAINER
If the elliptical
crosstrainer
rocks during
use, turn one or
both of the lev-
elling feet under
the rear stabilis-
er until the rock-
ing motion is
eliminated.
PULSE SENSOR TROUBLESHOOTING
If the chest pulse sensor does not function properly,
refer to CHEST PULSE SENSOR TROUBLE-
SHOOTING on page 8.
If the handgrip pulse sensor does not function proper-
ly, refer to step 6 on page 14.
HOW TO RESET THE CIRCUIT BREAKER
If the power does not come on when the console but-
tons are pressed or when the pedals are moved,
make sure that the power cord is properly plugged in
(see HOW TO PLUG IN THE POWER CORD on
page 10). In addition, make sure that the on/off switch
is in the on position (see THE ON/OFF SWITCH on
page 10).
If the
power still
does not
come on,
locate the
circuit
breaker at
the back of the elliptical crosstrainer. If the switch pro-
trudes as shown, the circuit breaker has tripped. To
reset the circuit breaker, wait for five minutes and then
press the switch back in.
HOW TO ACTIVATE THE CALIBRATION ROUTINE
If the elliptical crosstrainer’s resistance system or
incline system does not function properly, follow the
steps below to activate the calibration routine.
1.
Press the Start Program button and the level 10
Resistance button at the same time. The number
“100” will appear in the right display. Press the
Start Program button again. “EP:2P” will appear in
the left display.
2.
Press the 30° Ramp Angle button. The incline
ramp will move to the highest position and then to
the lowest position. The console will then emit a
beep.
3.
Press the level 10 Resistance button. “CAL” will
appear in the left display and the indicators in the
Training Zone bar will begin to flash. The resis-
tance will adjust to the highest setting and then to
the lowest setting.
4.
Press the Start Program button. A light test will
begin. While the test is in progress, press the Start
Program button again. The calibration routine will
be completed and the elliptical crosstrainer will be
ready for use.
