Section 4 - Chapter 3 - TCP/IP Configuration and Printing TYPE ASCII BINARY IMAGE STRU MODE OPEN CLOSE QUIT BYE Changes the representation type used for data transfer. Image (or binary) and ASCII are the only types supported. Equivalent to "TYPE ASCII." Equivalent to "TYPE BINARY." Equivalent to "TYPE IMAGE." Specifies file structure. File is the only structure supported. Specifies transfer mode. Stream is the only transfer mode supported. Opens connection to remote host. Terminates FTP session. Terminates FTP session and exits FTP. Equivalent to QUIT. OkiLAN 6120i print servers will allow one FTP connection. If more FTP connections are attempted, the OkiLAN 6120i will reject the connection until one of the other FTP connections is closed. When an FTP connection is rejected, the FTP program will typically display a message like the following: $ ftp ftp> open OkiLAN 6120i_name connection refused ftp> Note: Specifying binary mode is important for all jobs.
