MENU SETTINGS TABLE Group Item Serial I/F Baud Rate (cont.) DSR Signal DTR Signal Busy Time Stop Bit Receive Error Function Set this to match your system's transmission speed. Used with the Ready/Busy protocol (factory default) to select the way your system handles the DSR signal. Change to Ready on Select if the DTR signal is required when the printer is selected (leave as Ready on Power Up if the DTR signal is required when the printer is turned on). Sets the length of the busy signal when the Ready/Busy protocol (factory default) is engaged, Set the stop bit length. When "checked" is selected the printer checks for the correct number of bits and sends an error if an incorrect number is found. Settings (defaults are set in bold italic) 19200 bps, 9600 bps, 4800 bps, 2400 bps, 1200 bps, 600 bps, 300 bps Valid, Invalid Ready on Power Up, Ready on Select 0.2 sec, 1 sec 1 bit, 2 bit Checked, Unchecked ML620/ML621 User's Guide 65
