PROBLEM CAUSE Improper continuous forms feed No line feed, and no paper feed. Paper is off the Pin Tractors. The adjust lever position does not match the paper type. Paper distortion or jam. Forms are loaded with their left holes out of line with the right ones. Inadequate distance between the left and right Pin Tractors, making for loose paper. Skewed paper feeding. Paper movement is blocked. Paper source is too far from the printer. Paper not specified for the printer. Several blank lines appear in Skip-over perforation spacing is set. the print-out The selected skip-over perforation spacing does not match the physical tear-off perforation positions. The paper length selected in the application does not match the physical paper length. Abnormal switch-over between cut sheet and continuous forms modes No cut sheet feed. The printer is in continuous forms mode. No continuous forms feed. The printer is in cut sheet mode. SOLUTION Reload paper correctly. Set the adjust lever to the correct position. Load forms with their left holes in line with the right ones. Relocate the Pin Tractors to tighten the paper. Move the paper to make it straight. Remove the blockage. Move the paper source nearer to the printer. Use paper types specified for this printer. Cancel the skip-over perforation spacing. Match the paper length selected in the application with the physical paper length in use. Select the paper length in number of lines in the application. Set the Paper Type lever to cut sheet mode.
