Panorama shooting 1 Press the shutter button fully to take the picture. Self-timer lamp • Pressing the shutter button halfway locks the focus and exposure. • The self-timer lamp lights for approximately 10 seconds, then starts blinking. After blinking for approximately 2 seconds, the picture is taken. • The self-timer mode is automatically canceled after one shot. Panorama shooting You can take advantage of panorama shooting with Olympus cards (xD- Picture Card). Panorama shooting lets you connect pictures with overlapping edges into a single panoramic picture, using the OLYMPUS Master software. 5 The part of the previous picture where it will be joined to the next picture does not remain in the frame on the edge of the screen. You have to remember what the part in the frame looked like and take the next picture so it overlaps. Compose your shots so that the right edge of the previous picture overlaps the left edge of the next picture if you are connecting pictures from left to right (or vice versa if you are connecting pictures from right to left).
