DRIVE Using sequential (continuous) shooting o Shoots 1 frame at a time when the shutter button is pressed. j Focus and exposure are locked at the first frame. The sequential shooting speed varies depending on the image quality setting. W Pictures can be taken at a faster speed than normal sequential shooting. You can take a sequence of pictures at one time by holding down the shutter button. The camera will take pictures continuously until you release the shutter button. • When [ W ] is selected, the following setting restrictions apply. • Flash mode can be selected between either [#] or [$] (Stylus1020/µ1020). Flash mode is fixed at [$] (Stylus1010/µ1010). • [ISO] is fixed at [AUTO]. • [IMAGE SIZE] is limited to [I] and lower. ge • [FINE ZOOM], [DIGITAL ZOOM] and [R] are not available. FINE ZOOM Zooming in on your subject without reducing image quality OFF / ON This function allows you to zoom up to maximum 40x by combining the optical zoom and image cropping. This function will not reduce the image quality since it does not convert the data with fewer pixels into the data with larger pixels. • The available zoom factor varies depending on the [IMAGE QUALITY] setting. • [IMAGE SIZE] is limited to [H] and lower. DIGITAL ZOOM Zooming in on your subject OFF / ON The digital zoom can be used to take close-up shots with stronger magnification when combined with optical zoom. (Optical Zoom × Digital Zoom: maximum 35×) • This function cannot be set when [FINE ZOOM] is [ON].
