Disconnecting the camera from your computer Windows Me/2000/XP Make sure that the orange lamp on the camera is not lit. The green lamp, however, is lit. Orange lamp Green lamp Using the provided CAMEDIA Master software Creating and sharing images using a computer If the orange lamp is lit or blinking, wait until the lamp turns off before proceeding. If the orange lamp does not turn off, this may indicate that the camera is accessing the software on the computer. Close the software that you are using. Single click the "Unplug or Eject Hardware" icon on the taskbar. For Windows XP, click the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon. The message "Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device" or "Stop USB Mass Storage Device" appears. The message saying that the drive has been stopped appears. Single click the message. A confirmation window appears. When the window appears, click "OK". Remove the USB cable from the computer and camera. The green lamp on the camera turns off. 61
