Synchronous recording 3 Press the o REC button. DX-R700 RC-448C REC REC "Rec Setup" appears in the display followed by the time display (the recording standby state). Proceed to step 6 if you do not wish to adjust the recording level. 4 Adjust the recording level. Refer to page 21, step 4 "Adjust the recording level." 5 Stop the playback of the source device. 6 Press the play button on the source device to start the playback. Playing starts and recording starts at the DXR700. When the playback finishes Only when you perform the digital synchronous recording from the CD player, the DX-R700 will go into the recording standby state. After the recording standby state lasts 10 minutes, the DX-R700 will stop automatically. In any other recordings, you will have to stop the recording manually using the e STOP button on the DX-R700. To stop the synchronous recording Press the e STOP button on the DX-R700. When you are performing the digital synchronous recording from the CD player, the stop of the CD playback will cause the DX-R700 to enter the recording standby state. While performing analog recording, do not switch the input selector control on the amplifier. 25
