On-screen Setup With the AV receiver connected to a TV, there are two ways of changing the settings on-screen: using the Quick Setup or the Setup Menu (HOME). ■ Quick Setup The Quick Setup provides quick access to frequently used settings. You can change settings and view the current information. ■ Setup menu (HOME) The Setup menu (HOME) provides a convenient way to change the AV receiver's various settings. Settings are organized into 11 categories. The on-screen menus appear only on a TV that is connected to HDMI OUT. If your TV is connected to other video outputs, use the AV receiver's display when changing settings. This section describes the procedure for using the remote controller unless otherwise specified. Note • The on-screen menus are displayed when: - There is no video input, or - The video input is 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i, or 1080p. Using the Quick Setup RECEIVER ENTER R/X/F/S Q SETUP 1 Press RECEIVER followed by Q SETUP. The Quick Setup will be superimposed on the TV screen. 2 Use R/X and ENTER to make the desired selection. Press Q SETUP to close the menu. Press RETURN to return to the previous menu. Use R/X to select an input source and view its assignment information. Pressing ENTER switches to the selected input source. ■ Audio (➔ page 42) `You can change the following settings: "Bass", "Treble", "Subwoofer Level", "Center Level", "Audyssey", "Dynamic EQ", "Dynamic Volume", "Late Night", "Music Optimizer", and "Cinema Filter". ■ Information*1 `You can view the information of the following items: "Input" and "Output". ■ Listening Mode*2 `You can select the listening modes that are grouped in the following categories: "MOVIE/TV", "MUSIC", "GAME". Use R/X to select the category and F/S to select the listening mode. Press ENTER to switch to the selected listening mode. Note *1 Depending on the input source and listening mode, not all channels shown here output the sound. *2 • This setting is not available in either of the following cases: - The "Audio TV Out" setting is set to "On" (➔ page 52). - "HDMI Ctrl (RIHD)" is set to "On" (➔ page 52) and you're listening through your TV speakers. On-screen Setup
With the AV receiver connected to a TV, there are two
ways of changing the settings on-screen: using the Quick
Setup or the Setup Menu (

Quick Setup
The Quick Setup provides quick access to frequently used
settings. You can change settings and view the current
information.
