With this setting, you can specify which audio inputs the AV receiver checks for signals. 1 Press the input selector button for the input selector whose set- ting you want to change. DVD VCR/DVR CBL/SAT The setting for the TUNER input selec- tor cannot be changed and is fixed at Analog. AUX TAPE TUNER CD 2 DIGITAL INPUT Press the [DIGITAL INPUT] button. The current setting is displayed. 3 DIGITAL INPUT Press the [DIGITAL INPUT] button repeatedly to select an option. HDMIx (Auto): This option can be selected when an HDMI input is assigned to an input selector (page 46). When this option is selected, the relevant HDMI, digital, and analog inputs will be checked for the presence of an audio signal. If signals are present at more than one input, the inputs will be selected in the following order of priority: HDMI, digital, analog. COAXx (Auto)/OPTx (Auto): This option can be selected when a digital input is assigned to an input selector (page 47). When this option is selected, the relevant digital and analog inputs will be checked for the presence of an audio signal. If signals are present at more than one input, the inputs will be selected in the following order of priority: digital, analog. Any audio signals present at the HDMI inputs will not be output. Analog: When this option is selected, the signal from the relevant analog audio input is output. Any audio signals present at HDMI or digital inputs will not be output. Note: • You can select a different option for each input selec- tor. 49
