Maintenance LCD / Touch Screen Panasonic Cleaning • Always use the blue cleaning cloth included with the Panasonic Toughbook • You may also use the 3M Magic Cleaning Cloth available online or at your local warehouse store or supercenter • In an emergency you can use a dry all cotton t-shirt or medical gauze Press F2 for Setup Press F2 for Setup Disinfecting • You may use SaniWipe to disinfect the touch screen area, however you should not use this method to clean the screen area • You should not use over-the-counter alcohol wipes because they often contain lotions and emollients which can leave a residue on the touch screen area • If you do use conventional alcohol wipes, make sure to clean the area with a dry cotton cloth to remove any additional lotions from the surface area • Never use ammonia or bleach products to clean or disinfect the screen. These products will remove the anti-glare coating and damage the touch screen protection sheet and may seep in to the LCD cabinet • Never use an abrasive material or any material other than an all cotton t-shirt material or medical gauze 13
