Maintenance Keyboard / Touch Pad Cleaning • Always use the blue cleaning cloth included with the Panasonic Toughbook • You may also use the 3M Magic Cleaning Cloth available online or at your local warehouse store or supercenter • In an emergency you can use a dry all cotton t-shirt or medical gauze • You can also use a business or credit card to remove any additional debris from the touch pad Disinfecting • You may use SaniWipe or an alcohol pad to disinfect the keyboard • Be Careful! Use small round motions to clean each individual key or you may inadvertently pull the keys off of the keyboard • Never intentionally pour water directly in to the keyboard area. However, if you do, make sure that the unit is sitting on a table or other flat surface and all access doors and port covers are closed and secured/locked before you proceed • Make sure to invert the unit to drain any additional liquids that may remain in the underneath the keys and allow the unit to air dry 14
