5. Image Recording Note on RAW RAW format refers to a data format of images that have not been processed on the camera. Playback and editing of RAW images require the camera or the dedicated software. • You can process RAW images on the camera. (286) • Use software ("SILKYPIX Developer Studio" by Adwaa) to process and edit RAW files on a PC. (433) • Pictures taken with [ ] cannot be displayed enlarged to the maximum magnification during playback. Take pictures with [ ] or [ ] if you want to check their focus on the camera after recording. • RAW images are always recorded in the [L] size of the [4:3] aspect ratio. • When you delete an image recorded with [ ] or [ ] on the camera, both the RAW and JPEG images will be deleted simultaneously and [ ] are not available when using the following function: - [ ] mode ([Handheld Night Shot]) • When the following functions are being used, [Quality] is not available: - [4K PHOTO], [Post Focus] - [Multi Exp.] 120
