Tele Macro A more impressive image can be obtained by focusing on the object only in close-up and shading off the background. ≥ The unit can focus on the subject at a distance of approx. 70 cm (28q). ≥ When the Tele Macro is set with the zoom magnification less than 42k in Motion Picture Recording Mode, it will automatically be set to 42k. ≥ When the Tele Macro is set in the still picture recording mode with the picture size set to [ 16:9 3M]/[ 16:9 2.1M], zoom magnification is set automatically to 42k if the zoom magnification is less than 42k. It will be set automatically to 38k when the picture size is set to [ 4:3 2.6M]/[ 4:3 0.3M]/[ 3:2 2.8M]. ≥ The Tele Macro function is automatically canceled when the zoom magnification becomes lower than 42k in Motion Picture Recording Mode. ≥ Tele Macro function is canceled automatically when the zoom magnification becomes lower than the below in Still Picture Recording Mode: j Lower than 42k (when picture size is [ 16:9 3M]/[ 16:9 2.1M]) j Lower than 38k (when picture size is [ 4:3 2.6M]/[ 4:3 0.3M]/[ 3:2 2.8M]) 61 VQT3W31
