Basic Operation Answering Calls When a call is received, the unit rings, "Incoming call" is displayed, and the Ringer/Message Alert indicator on the handset and the IN USE indicator on the base unit flash rapidly. Answering Calls
When a call is received, the unit rings, “

Auto Talk
If the Auto Talk feature is turned on (p. 14), you can answer a call by simply lifting
the handset off the base unit or charger.
Temporary ringer off
You can turn the ringer off temporarily by pressing

is received.
