Problem I cannot operate the answering system remotely. Useful Information Cause/solution L The remote access code is not set. Set the remote access code (page 53). L You are entering the wrong remote access code. If you have forgotten your remote access code, enter the remote access code setting to check your current code (page 53). L Press each key firmly. L The answering system is turned off. Turn it on (page 54). L You cannot operate the answering system when calling a cellular phone registered to the base unit. Bluetooth PIN Problem I cannot remember the PIN. Cause/solution L Change the PIN using the following method. 1 {MENU} i {#}{6}{1}{9} 2 {*}{7}{0}{0}{0} 3 Enter the new 4-digit PIN. i {OK} 4 Enter the new 4-digit PIN again. i {SAVE} i {OFF} Liquid damage Problem Liquid or other form of moisture has entered the handset/base unit. Cause/solution L Disconnect the AC adaptor and telephone line cord from the base unit. Remove the batteries from the handset and leave to dry for at least 3 days. After the handset/base unit are completely dry, reconnect the AC adaptor and telephone line cord. Insert the batteries and charge fully before use.
