Special Features Setting the Password You can change the password for the call restriction. The default password is "1111". To set the password Make sure that the handset is on the cradle, the AC adaptor is connected and the SP-PHONE/HEADSET indicator light is off. 1 Press {FUNCTION/EDIT}. 2 Scroll to "Program ?" by pressing {4} or {3} and press {OK} (Yes key). 3 Scroll to "Change password?" by pressing {4} or {3} and press {OK} (Yes key). 4 Enter the current password. Current password :@@@@ [OK]=Next 6 Enter a new password using a 4-digit number. (Example: "1234" is entered.) New password :1234 [OK]=Save 7 Press {OK} (Save key). • A long beep sounds. • The display will return to step 3. To exit the programming mode, press {EXIT} or wait for 60 seconds. • You can exit the programming mode any time by pressing {EXIT}. 5 Press {OK} (Next key). • If the wrong password was entered, 3 beeps will sound.
