Chapter 4 Settings - [NETWORK/USB] menu [KEY1] - [KEY4] [KEY] [EAP] [USER NAME] [PASSWORD] Set WEP key to the key number selected in [DEFAULT KEY]. This item can be selected only when [AUTHENTICATION] is set to [OPEN] or [SHARED], and the encryption method is [WEP]. Only the 64 bits or 128 bits WEP key can be set. For 64 bits, enter five characters in alphanumeric (10 digits in case of hexadecimal), and for 128 bits, enter 13 characters in alphanumeric (26 digits in case of hexadecimal). Set the key. This item can be set when [AUTHENTICATION] is set to [WPA-PSK] or [WPA2-PSK]. Enter 8 to 63 characters of ASCII character, or 64-digit hexadecimal number. Select the EAP set for the RADIUS server. This item can be set when [AUTHENTICATION] is set to [WPA-EAP/WPA2-EAP], [WPA-EAP], or [WPA2-EAP]. The types of EAP that can be selected are as follows. [PEAP(MS-CHAPv2)], [PEAP(GTC)], [EAP-TTLS(MD5)], [EAP-TTLS(MS-CHAPv2)], [EAP-FAST(MSCHAPv2)], [EAP-FAST(GTC)], [EAP-TLS] Enter the user name to be used for authentication in single-byte alphanumeric characters (excluding the space). (Maximum of 64 characters) This item can be set when [AUTHENTICATION] is set to [WPA-EAP/WPA2-EAP], [WPA-EAP], or [WPA2-EAP]. Enter the password to be used for authentication in single-byte alphanumeric characters. (Maximum of 64 characters) This item can be set when [AUTHENTICATION] is set to [WPA-EAP/WPA2-EAP], [WPA-EAP], or [WPA2-EAP]. 6) Press as to move to next page. ffThe [WIRELESS DETAILED SETUP] screen (2/2) is displayed. 7) Press asqw to select an item, and change the setting according to the operation instruction of the menu. [DHCP] [IP ADDRESS] [SUBNET MASK] [DEFAULT GATEWAY] [DNS1] [DNS2] [OFF] Select this item when there is no DHCP server in the network to which the projector is to be connected, and to specify the IP address. [ON] Select this item when there is a DHCP server in the network to which the projector is to be connected, and to acquire the IP address automatically. Enter the IP address when [DHCP] is set to [OFF]. Enter the subnet mask when [DHCP] is set to [OFF]. Enter the default gateway address when [DHCP] is set to [OFF]. Enter the address of the preferred DNS server when [DHCP] is set to [OFF]. Enter the address of the alternate DNS server when [DHCP] is set to [OFF]. 8) Once the setting is completed, press as to select [STORE], and press the button. ffThe confirmation screen is displayed. ffWhen [INVALID ENTRY. PLEASE RE-ENTER.] is displayed, change the setting to correct content. 9) Press qw to select [OK], and press the button. Note ff For setting content of each item, consult the network administrator. ff When using EAP, the projector is required to be set according to the RADIUS server setting. For setting the server, consult the network administrator. ff When using the EAP combined with an access point with the SSID broadcast disabled, select [WPA-EAP] or [WPA2-EAP] as the authentication method even if the authentication of the access point is WPA-EAP/WPA2-EAP. ff Wired LAN and wireless LAN cannot be used in the same segment. ff When using the projector by setting [DHCP] to [ON], confirm that the DHCP server is operating. ff If the LAN connection is not established via access point even when "Setting of the projector" (x page 157) is executed, consult the manufacturer of the used access point (radio wave repeater). rrFactory default setting ffFollowing is preset as the factory default setting. Settings — [NETWORK/USB] menu

[KEY1] - [KEY4]

Set WEP key to the key number selected in [DEFAULT KEY].

This item can be selected only when [AUTHENTICATION] is set to [OPEN] or [SHARED], and the

encryption method is [WEP].

Only the 64 bits or 128 bits WEP key can be set. For 64 bits, enter ﬁve characters in alphanumeric

(10 digits in case of hexadecimal), and for 128 bits, enter 13 characters in alphanumeric (26 digits in

case of hexadecimal).

[KEY]

Set the key.

Select this item when there is no DHCP server in the network

to which the projector is to be connected, and to specify the IP

address.

[ON]

Select this item when there is a DHCP server in the network to

which the projector is to be connected, and to acquire the IP

address automatically.

[IP ADDRESS]

Enter the IP address when [DHCP] is set to [OFF].

[SUBNET MASK]

Enter the subnet mask when [DHCP] is set to [OFF].

[DEFAULT GATEWAY]

Enter the default gateway address when [DHCP] is set to [OFF].

[DNS1]

Enter the address of the preferred DNS server when [DHCP] is set to [OFF].

Once the setting is completed, press
