Video Settings, Reset to Default Video Settings

Video Settings ∫ Picture Mode Select the picture quality mode during play. ≥ If you select "User", you can change settings in "Picture Adjustment". ∫ Picture Adjustment Specific picture quality settings can be changed. ∫ Progressive Select the method of conversion for progressive output to suit the type of material being played. ≥ When the content is distorted, change the settings from "Auto" to "Video". ∫ 24p Movies and other material recorded on DVD-Video at 24p are output at 24p. ≥ Only when you "24p Output" is set to "On" (> 27). ∫ Reset to Default Video Settings Return video settings to the factory defaults. Audio Settings "Surround Effects" and "Sound Effects" can also be set by using the [SOUND] on the remote control. ∫ Surround Effects Press [OK] to show the following settings: ¾BD/DVD (Multi-ch Source): 2ch Stereo You can play any source in stereo. Sound will be output to the front speakers and the subwoofer only. ¾ TV/CD (2ch Source): You can enjoy sound from the Multi front speakers, as well as the Channel Out surround speakers even when playing stereo sources. Dolby Pro Logic II Movie Suitable for movie software, or the one recorded in Dolby Surround. Dolby Pro Logic II Music Adds 5.1-channel effects to stereo sources. ∫ Sound Effects Press [OK] to show the following settings: ¾ Equalizer You can select sound quality settings. ¾ Subwoofer You can adjust the amount of bass. Level 1 (Weakest effect) to Level 4 (Strongest effect) ≥ Levels can be set by source. ¾ Whisper-Mode Surround You can enhance the surround effect for low volume sound. (Convenient for late night viewing.) ≥ Not every effect can be set individually. ≥ The sound effects may not be available or have no effect with some sources. ≥ You may experience a reduction in sound quality when these sound effects are used with some sources. If this occurs, turn the sound effects off. 3D Settings ∫ Distance Set the amount of depth perception. ∫ Pop-Out Level 3D position for the Option menu or message screen, etc. can be adjusted during 3D playback. 26 VQT5F60
