These settings are retained in memory until they are changed, even if the unit is turned off. CLOCK SET The clock is set automatically after Plug-in Auto Tuning (➡ page 15). Do the following if you want to set it again or if the time is not set correctly. While the VCR MENU is displayed 1 Press [3, 4] to select "CLOCK SET" and press [ENTER]. AUTO CLOCK SET 2 Press [3, 4] to select "AUTO CLOCK SET" and press [ENTER]. AUTO CLOCK SET AUTO CLOCK SETTING IN PROGRESS. PLEASE WAIT. CANCEL:MENU Auto setting starts. This can take some time. To stop partway through Press [MENU]. ∫ If the unit couldn't set the clock automatically The MANUAL CLOCK SET screen appears. Set the time manually (➡ below). MANUAL CLOCK SET 2 Press [3, 4] to select MANUAL CLOCK SET "MANUAL CLOCK SET" and press YM D H:M 2003 1 1 12:00AM D. S. T. : YES ≥NO [ENTER]. 3 Press [2, 1] to SELECT :2 1 s/r:4 3 START :MENU select the item you want to change and press [3, 4] to change the setting. 4 Press [MENU] to start the clock and exit the setting screen. ∫ Time reset function To return the clock to the exact hour, wait until the clock in the MANUAL CLOCK SET screen is within 2 minutes either side of the hour (e.g., between 11:58:00 and 12:01:59) press [MENU] to clear the screen. The clock changes to the exact hour.
