Using discs on a computer (Macintosh) 12 Click [Create Menu] (A) and edit the DVD menu as required, then click [Write to Disc] (B). AB 13 Check [Create disc] (A), select the drive to be used (B) and then click [Write] (C). A B C 14 Insert a brand-new 12 cm (5z) DVD-RW or DVD-R disc into the disc drive and click [OK]. ≥ 12 cm (5z) iRW and iR discs can also be used if the disc drive supports them. 15 Proceed with the write setting and then click [OK]. Writing to the disc starts. ≥ Depending on the amount of data, writing to the disc may take time. ≥ When the unit is connected to a computer, the operation mode cannot be changed and its power cannot be turned off. In this case, disconnect the USB cable (l below). ≥ When the unit is connected to a computer in disc playback mode, no image will appear on the LCD monitor or viewfinder. ≥ When this unit is connected to a computer, you cannot use this unit's DISC EJECT lever to remove a disc. Use the software's eject button to eject the disc. ≥ When a computer is accessing a disc in this unit, the ACCESS/PC lamp lights. Do not disconnect the USB cable or AC adaptor while the disc is being accessed as it may damage the data. With a computer To disconnect USB cable safely When the drive icon is displayed on the desktop: Drag the icon into the Trash and then disconnect the USB cable.
