A• of • Blinking Lamp When the Remote Control Shooting mode is set on the camera, the Self-Timer lamp on the front of the camera blinks slowly, indicating that you can take pictures with the aid of a Remote Control. When the camera is set in the Remote Control Shooting mode and left unused for 10 minutes, the camera automatically switches itself off to save battery power. Push the camera's Main Switch again to turn it on. Taking Pictures Compose the scene and frame the subject with the AF frame. Aim the Remote Control Transmitter towards the Remote Control Receiver on the camera, and then depress the Remote Control's shutter release button fully to release the shutter. • The Self-Timer lamp blinks rapidly for 3 seconds and then the shutter is released. If the shutter is released by the camera's release button, pictures will be taken in the ordinary shooting mode. • Focus cannot be locked when the Remote Control is in use. • The subject framed in the AF frame will be in focus when th Remote Control's shutter release button is depressed. 29
