TAKING PANORAMIC FORMAT PICTURE O a- O ®• ON/OFF You can switch between the panoramic format and standard format picture taking mode in the middle of the roll by moving the panorama mode switch. The panoramic format picture allows horizontally positioned dynamic pictures to be taken (13 x 36mm on film). 1 Switching to the panoramic format picture Move the panorama mode selector switch to (P) to select the panoramic format mode. • When the format is switched to panorama, the viewfinder switches to the horizontal panoramic format frame. 2 Taking a panoramic format picture Compose the scene within the panoramic format frame, and then fully depress the shutter release button to take a panoramic format picture. • When taking panoramic format pictures at a distance closer than lm, keep in mind that as when taking standard pictures the picture area will shift slightly downwards. Make sure to compose the scene within the panoramic format close distance compensation frame. 33
