These warnings appear in the Metered Manual mode. +3 means you are three stops over normal exposure. -3 means three stops under. Adjust aperture or shutter speed until you see the ±0 sign. Beyond meter coupling range in Metered Manual mode. It is not possible to get correct exposure by changing aperture or shutter speed. Use flash or a different sensitivity film. The flickering letters EF in the viewfinder LCD remind you that the exposure compensation dial is set to a value other than normal - 'Ix.
