WARNING FUNCTIONS Warning animation message display Presser foot is not lowered The START/STOP button or reverse button was pressed while the presser foot was in the "UP" position. Lower presser foot lever. BH lever is not lowered The buttonhole or darning stitch was selected and the START/STOP button was pressed while the buttonhole lever is raised. To sew a button hole or darning stitch, lower the buttonhole lever. BH lever is not lifted A stitch other than the buttonhole or darning stitch was selected and the START/STOP button was pressed while the buttonhole lever is down. To continue sewing, move the buttonhole lever up to the raised position. The sewing machine is in trouble This message means that the thread is twisted or jammed and the handwheel cannot move. Please look through the "Trouble shooting" on page 90/91 to find the solution. After the problem has been solved, the machine will continue to sew. If the problem persists, please consult your local authorized retailer. The upper thread is broken This message is displayed when the upper thread is broken. Please check and rethread the upper thread. 84 APPENDIX
