English 6 End of season maintenance and storage 1 Follow the Removing scale and Disinfecting the reservoir cleaning instructions. 2 Remove and throw away the filter. 3 Let the inside of the humidifier dry completely before storing. Do not store with water in the reservoir. 4 Store humidifier in a cool, dry location. 7 Replacing the filter Replace the filter every three months for optimal performance. Note • Use only Philips original wick filter HU4102. • Always unplug the humidifier before you replace the filter. Tip • Register your product at www.philips.com for further information on how to replace your filter. 1 Remove the filter and the filter support from the reservoir (fig. p). 2 Remove the filter from the filter support. Discard the used filter (fig. z). 3 Remove the packaging material from the new filter (fig. d). 4 Assemble the new filter around the filter support (fig. e). 5 Put the filter and the filter support back into the reservoir (fig. f). 6 Put the upper unit back onto the reservoir (fig. h).
