• Do not use this humidifier when you have used indoor smoke-type insect repellents or in places with oily residues, burning incense, or chemical fumes. Caution • A loose fit between the AC outlet (receptacle) and plug may cause overheating and a distortion of the humidifier plug. Contact a qualified electrician to replace loose or worn outlet. • Place the humidifier on a flat, horizontal and stable surface that is not sensitive to humidity. Do not place the humidifier on any wooden furniture, or on or near electronics or any other electrical appliance. • Do not place anything on top of the humidifier and do not sit on the humidifier. • Make sure that the humidifier is assembled/ connected properly after you clean it or after you remove the upper cover and/or reservoir for refilling. 4 EN • Only use the original Philips filter specially intended for this humidifier. Do not use any other filter. • Avoid knocking any parts of the humidifier with hard objects. • Do not fill water into the air outlets on top of the humidifier. • Locate the humidifier on an inside wall, near an electrical outlet, at least 4in./10cm away from the wall. Do not direct moisture flow directly at individuals, walls or furniture. • Place the humidifier properly to prevent children from knocking it over or tripping on the power cord. • Do not use the humidifier in a room with major temperature changes, as this may cause condensation inside the humidifier. • If the humidifier will not be used for a long period of time, unplug from the electrical outlet, clean the reservoir and filter (see section 'Clean your humidifier').
