English Activating or deactivating the timer Timer Sleep timer You can set a certain period of time after which the unit will switch to standby. REPEAT PROGRAM SHUFFLE DISPLAY SLEEP CLOCK TIMER TIMER ON/OFF REPEAT PROGRAM SHUFFLE DISPLAY RDS/NEWS DIM DSC VEC SLEEP CLOCK TIMER TIMER ON/OFF ● Press TIMER ON/OFF on the remote control repeatedly to activate or deactivate the timer. ➜ TIMER ON, the last set source and start time are displayed and the timer is activated. ➜ TIMER OFF is displayed and the timer is deactivated. Checking the timer setting REPEAT PROGRAM SHUFFLE DISPLAY SLEEP CLOCK TIMER TIMER ON/OFF RDS/NEWS DIM DSC VEC RDS/NEWS DIM DSC VEC 1 Press SLEEP on the remote control repeatedly to select the desired period of time (in minutes). Selection as follows: ➜ SLEEP 15MIN, SLEEP 30MIN, SLEEP 45MIN, SLEEP 60MIN, SLEEP 90MIN, SLEEP 120MIN, SLEEP OFF. 2 As soon as the desired period of time is displayed, do not press SLEEP again. ➜ During the last 10 seconds before switching to standby a countdown is displayed: SLEEP 10, SLEEP 9,... SLEEP 1, SLEEP. ➜ Then the unit switches to standby. ● To deactivate the sleep timer press SLEEP on the remote control until SLEEP OFF is displayed or press STANDBY-ON 2. ● Press for less than 2 seconds TIMER on the remote control to check the timer setting. ➜ TIMER ON, the last set source and start time are displayed. 31
