Phonebook entry cannot be stored and Memory Full is displayed! • Delete an entry to free memory before saving your contact again. The PIN code is wrong! • The default PIN is 0000. • Reset the handset to revert to the default PIN code if it has been changed before (see "Reset Unit" Section 10.8). The answering machine does not record calls. • Make sure the answering machine is connected to the power adaptor, and the power adaptor is plugged into mains supply which is switched on. • Check if the answer machine is off, or Answer only mode is selected. • Check to see if the answering machine is memory full. If so, delete some or all messages. • Try switching off the power at the mains socket, and then turn it on again after 1 minute. Unable to perform remote operation • Make sure the remote access is on (see Section 12.6.2). • Make sure you entered the correct remote access code. • Use a touch-tone phone.
