Other Functions Section 13 English Español Deutsch • When using a DVD player unit connected with an RCA cable, if you do not select M-DVD, there will be no picture even if you switch sources. • When using a DVD player unit connected with an AV-BUS cable, do not select M-DVD. If you do, there will be no picture. • If you select BACK UP CAMERA, press ∞ to move to BACK UP POLARITY, or use 2 or 3 to select BATTERY and GND. BATTERY: When the gear shift is moved to the REVERSE (R) position, and the polarity of the connected lead wire is positive. GND: When the gear shift is moved to the REVERSE (R) position, and the polarity of the connected lead wire (refer to page 30) is negative. • This product features a function that automatically switches to the video input into the video or back camera jack when a back-up camera is installed on your car. If this is the case, when the gear shift is in the REVERSE (R) position, the video automatically switches to video or back camera. (The default setting is BATTERY. For more details, consult with your dealer.) Notes • If you do not operate the function within about 30 seconds, the display is automatically returned to the playback display. • If you select BACKUP CAMERA, switching to the correct video setting may not occur. Confirm that directly after changing the setting, it changes to VIDEO when the gear shift is moved to REVERSE from another position. • If you select BACKUP CAMERA, the display changes to VIDEO during normal drivings, reverse the settings. Setting the automatic open mode To prevent the display from hitting the shift lever of an automatic vehicle when it is in the "P" (park) position, or when you do not wish opening/closing of the display to be carried out automatically, you can switch this function ON/OFF. 1 Press 5 or ∞ to select AUTO FLAP from the SET UP MENU, and press A.MENU. AUTO FLAP adjustment indications are displayed. 2 Press 2 to select the manual. Press 2 until the OPEN/CLOSE:MANUAL setting appears in the display. Each time you press a manually set monitor's EJECT, the monitor opens or closes. 3 Press 3 to select the auto. Press 2 until the OPEN/CLOSE:AUTO setting appears in the display. With auto setting, the monitor automatically opens or closes when power to this unit is switched ON.
