These indicators display the current tape transport mode. The chart below shows the meaning of each of these indicators. The indicators for DECK I and DECK fl differ only in the location of the PLAY and REC indicators (DECK I-left, DECK II-right).

Different counters are provided for DECK I and II. The number of a counter increases/decreases as a tape runs. It is convenient if you make a note of the recorded content and range of the counter while recording or playing back. You can then easily Iocate the desired track or where you lastly recorded to resume recording. • Time • counter
