Using the Tuner Direct Access Tuning The following steps show you how to tune directly to a specific frequency using the remote control. S0URCE Î RECEIVER 1 Press TUNER. MULTI OPERATION SYSTEM OFF This selects the TUNER function on the receiver and sets the DVD/LD TV/SAT VCR1 VCR2 MULTI CONTROL CD MD/ TAPE1 TUNER TVCONT CLASS ¶ MPX 7 - + TUNING 1¡ DTV ON/OFF DTV MENU BAND DIRECT ACCESS 38 - + STATION 4¢ - + CHANNEL 1 2 3 1 remote to the TUNER operation mode. The previously tuned station is received automatically. 3 2 2 Press BAND button on the remote or the FM/AM button on the front panel to select the band (FM 4 4 5 6 or AM). Each press switches the band : FM j AM 7 8 9 GUIDE +10 EXIT 0 ENTER DISC 3 Press DIRECT ACCESS to activate the direct Access tuning mode. TV VOL TV TV CONTROL VOLUME 5 The cursor blinks in the display on the front panel. TV FUNC EFFECT /CH SEL MENU MUTE FUNCTION SYSTEM SETUP ENTER THX /dts ADVANCED SIGNAL SELECT STANDARD REMOTE SETUP MIDNIGHT DSP STEREO DIGITAL NR SIGNAL SELECT ANALOG SP A STEREO VOLUME dB 4 Use the number buttons to enter the frequency of the station you want. Example: To tune station 106.00 (FM), press: DIGITAL MULTI PROCESSING AMPLIFIER REMOTE CONTROL UNIT 1 =0 =6 =0 =0 SIGNAL SELECT ANALOG SP A STEREO TUNED STEREO VOLUME dB To cancel before inputting the frequency Press DIRECT ACCESS, and enter the frequency again. 5 Adjust the volume. OPERATION
Direct Access Tuning
The following steps show you how to tune directly to a specific frequency using the remote control.

Press TUNER.
This selects the TUNER function on the receiver and sets the
remote to the TUNER operation mode.
The previously tuned station is received automatically.

Press BAND button on the remote or the FM/AM
button on the front panel to select the band (FM
or AM).
Each press switches the band : FM

AM

Press DIRECT ACCESS to activate the direct
Access tuning mode.
The cursor blinks in the display on the front panel.

Use the number buttons to enter the frequency
of the station you want.
Example:
To
tune station 106.00 (FM), press:

To cancel before inputting the frequency
Press DIRECT ACCESS, and enter the frequency again.
